Former Territorial Defence building in Teslić

In the basement of the Territorial Defence building in Teslić, where the Territorial Defence Headquarters were located, under the control of the reserve police forces, members of the “Miće” unit and soldiers of VRS, a detention facility was established for Bosniaks and operated from early June to mid-July 1992. The prisoners witnessed the beatings of other prisoners and their deaths resulting from the beatings. In August 1992, members of the “Miće” unit killed 40 prisoners held at the Territorial Defence building. Soon afterwards, the detention facility was closed.
