Former Sloga shoe factory, Prnjavor

From May to mid-September 1992, the Sloga shoe factory in Prnjavor was used as a detention site for Bosniaks, mostly men and boys aged 14 to 60. Between 250 and 300 people were detained in the factory and its facilities. The facility was run by VRS and MUP of Republika Srpska. The prisoners were made to sleep on cardboard, they were denied food, water and medical assistance, they were constantly abused by the guards, solders and reserve police officers and were taken out to perform forced labour.
