Fourth Primary School, Mostar

On 10 May 1993, in clashes between the HVO and the Army of RBiH many Bosniaks were expelled to the east part of Mostar or captured and taken to detention facilities. At the same time, member of the Army of RBiH established a detention facility for Croat civilians and prisoners of war at the Fourth Primary School in Mostar. The Army of RBiH had jurisdiction over the facility. Dozens of prisoners were held at this facility at different times, and they were subjected to abuse, torture and forced labour on a daily basis. The detention facility at the Fourth Primary School in Mostar operated until 19 March 1994.
